Rental terms

1. The rental company

Prestige Auto Rentals LLC operates in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. For reservations, changes, cancellations or questions, contact contact@prestigeautorentalsla.com or 818-573-4425. Pickup is by confirmed appointment; the exact handover location is provided with the booking.

2. Driver eligibility and insurance

The standard minimum driver age is 25. Every driver must hold a current, valid license permitting operation of the vehicle and must be approved and listed on the rental agreement. Driver eligibility also depends on the requirements of the applicable insurer and vehicle. We verify eligibility before accepting a booking.

Before vehicle release, we require evidence of insurance covering the intended rental and vehicle, including applicable liability, collision and comprehensive coverage. Coverage must be verified with the insurer; a personal policy or credit-card benefit is not automatically sufficient, especially for high-value vehicles. No insurance or damage waiver is included or sold through this website. Any available coverage arrangement, limits, exclusions and renter responsibility must be set out in writing before payment. Do not send license images, policy documents or payment-card details through the website inquiry form.

3. Vehicle confirmation

Our catalog is an invitation to request a vehicle. Availability is confirmed personally for your dates. We confirm the actual vehicle and configuration before payment. A material substitution requires your agreement; if we cannot supply the confirmed vehicle and you decline a proposed replacement, we refund unused prepaid rental charges for the unavailable booking.

4. Daily rates and complete quotes

Published “from” rates are starting daily rental rates for the advertised model family, subject to availability for your dates and confirmed configuration. A rental day is a scheduled 24-hour period; an additional started period is billed as another day. All pickup and return times are Los Angeles local time. Minimum rental: one day unless the written quote states a longer minimum before you accept it.

Advertised rates include our mandatory business-imposed rental fees for standard appointment pickup. Government-imposed taxes and fees are additional and itemized in the written quote. Optional delivery, collection or other selected services are separately quoted before acceptance. There is no undisclosed mandatory booking, administration or card-processing surcharge added by us.

The on-site calculator shows the rental subtotal, included mileage and separate refundable deposit. It does not determine government taxes or optional delivery charges and is not a final total or a reservation. We provide a complete written quote showing the full rental amount, applicable government charges, selected options and deposit before payment. No optional service is added without your agreement. Rates for a confirmed booking are the rates in the accepted written quote.

5. Mileage and permitted travel

Each paid rental day includes 100 miles, pooled across the rental. Additional mileage is $2 per mile. Standard driving permission is within California on paved public roads. Travel outside California requires our prior written approval and insurance acceptance. International travel, including Mexico and Canada, is not permitted under the standard rental terms.

6. Payment and refundable security deposit

After availability, eligibility and rental details are confirmed, we send a payment invoice through Square, Stripe or another mutually agreed provider. No card payment is taken on this website. A booking becomes confirmed only when we issue written confirmation after the agreed payment and documentation requirements have been met.

The standard refundable deposit is $1,500 for vehicles with an advertised daily rate below $500, and $2,500 for vehicles at $500/day or more. The actual amount and whether it is collected as an authorization hold or a refundable payment are specified before payment. The deposit is separate from rental charges and is not a limit on liability under the signed rental agreement or applicable law.

We initiate release or refund of the undisputed deposit balance within seven business days after return inspection. Bank and payment-provider processing times may add to this. Any proposed deduction will be itemized with an explanation and supporting information; disputed amounts are handled under the rental agreement and applicable law.

7. Cancellations, changes and unavailable vehicles

You may withdraw an unconfirmed inquiry at no cost. For a confirmed standard booking, cancellation received at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup is fully refundable. A cancellation received less than 48 hours before pickup, or a no-show, may be charged up to one confirmed daily rental rate, capped at the prepaid rental amount; the remainder is refunded. Any more favorable rule in your written confirmation applies. Applicable statutory cancellation or refund rights are preserved.

Cancellation requests must be sent to our contact email; call us as well for time-sensitive changes. Date changes are subject to availability and a revised quote accepted by you. Extensions must be approved before the agreed return time. No refund for an early return is promised unless agreed in writing. If we cancel because the confirmed vehicle is unavailable and no agreed substitute can be provided, unused prepaid rental charges are refunded.

8. Pickup, fuel, charging and return

We record vehicle condition, fuel or battery level, mileage and return time at handover. Please inspect the car with us and report any discrepancy before departure. Return it to the agreed location and at the agreed time, in the same condition apart from ordinary wear, with the same fuel level or battery percentage. Use the fuel grade and charging instructions specified for the actual vehicle.

Any fuel or charging shortfall is charged at the documented replenishment cost. Contact us promptly if you will be late; extensions depend on availability and the accepted rate. Late-return charges, if applicable, must be disclosed in the rental agreement; no duplicate rental-time charge will be imposed for the same period.

9. Use of the vehicle and incidents

No smoking or vaping; racing, timed events, track use, drifting, off-roading, towing, illegal use, impaired driving, or use by unapproved drivers. Do not disable safety or security equipment. No rideshare, passenger-for-hire or subrental use without a separate written agreement and appropriate insurance.

Report damage, a collision, theft or a mechanical warning immediately. For an emergency call 911; then contact us and follow insurer and police reporting requirements. Do not continue driving an unsafe vehicle. Repairs require approval except when necessary to address an immediate emergency. Charges for damage, tolls, tickets, extraordinary cleaning or other incidents require an applicable contractual or legal basis and an itemized explanation. This page does not impose a blanket damage-liability waiver or waive statutory protections.

10. Your agreement and questions

The accepted quote and signed rental agreement specify the actual vehicle, driver approval, coverage arrangements, total charges, security deposit and operational details. Any material difference from these website terms must be disclosed and accepted before payment. Contact us to resolve a concern; nothing here restricts non-waivable consumer rights.
